G21 Regional Hockey Strategy
The G21 Regional Hockey Stategy will guide the overall direction and development of hockey across the G21 region for the next 10 years.
The strategy will focus on both the built 'on-field' elements of the game (facilities and infrastructure) and the equally important 'off-field' components, including increaseing participation levels, building the social hockey format, sports development, resourcing and partnerships development.
The five G21 municipalities in partnership with Hockey Victoria have commissioned insideEDGE Sport and Leisure Planning to complete the strategy.
The Final Strategy was endorsed by the Project Control Group on 25 February 2019, and the G21 Sport & Recreation Pillar at the 4 March 2019 meeting.
The five G21 municipalities will receive the strategy for endorsement at their March and April Council meetings.
Following this, the G21 Regional Hockey Strategy will be presented to the G21 Board for ratification.
