Form a project group
G21 has many task forces, working groups and sub-committees that fall out of our Pillar Groups. To create a new G21 Project Group you must: 1. Develop a plan that provides details on your project concept and how it will be implemented.
2. Clearly demonstrate how the proposed project meets the criteria by which it will be assessed, namely: a) Regional social, environmental and economic benefits b) Strategic alignment with the objectives of the G21 Geelong Region Plan c) Leadership and human resources d) External (all levels of government and/or private sector) support and funding potential.
3. Approach the G21 Pillar you think would best match the proposed project, or contact G21 who can assist you with identifying the appropriate Pillar and arrange necessary introductions.
4. The Pillar will then assess your proposal against the above criteria and inform you as to whether the project proposal has been successful, and will be accepted as a G21 Pillar Project. You will then be able set up the G21 Project Group. Want to know more?Contact us at G21 if you wish to discuss this process further.
