Growth area gets first Secondary School
Local families will get a world-class school, with both the Labor and Coalition Governments promising to deliver Armstrong Creek’s first secondary school.
A $34.5 million commitment by both parties will see the new secondary school built and integrated into the Armstrong Creek Education Precinct.
Design and early works of the school, which will cater for up to 1,100 students in this rapidly growing suburb, are already underway.
Oberon High School will relocate to the site, located next to the existing primary and special school, when it opens in 2021.
Gaining infrastructure and services for the Armstrong Creek Urban Growth Area is a G21 priority project.
