  • A presentation was given to the HWB Executive on the National Partnership Agreement on Community Health and the Healthy Communities Initiative which will be of regional importance in the near future.
  • The HWB Pillar gives in principle endorsement to a proposal put forward regarding a regional strategy that supports municipal public health and wellbeing planning 2013-17, and recommends that after consultations with individual councils this proposal be presented to the G21 Board seeking its formal support.
  • The HWB Pillar will formulate a response to the DRAFT Victorian State Disability Plan 2013 -2016.
  • There is a need for the RMF, RDA, G21 and Great South Coast to review and discuss the current social issues and developments that are impacting on the region due to a variety of factors and in doing so, consider refreshing the social development agenda, and determining the most effective resourcing / support mechanisms to address the priority agenda in future given the introduction of the Sustainable Government Initiative (SGI).
