Geelong gets faster mental health support

News
Health service trial gives G21 region people living with acute mental health issues faster access to the treatment they need.

The Need

With an aging population, a high proportion of people living with a disability, and a trend to smaller household sizes, there is a need to develop policy that supports diverse housing and accommodation options in Colac close to services and amenities.

The Project

There is an opportunity to plan for medium to high density housing in Colac’s CBD. Land identified is close to the Colac Railway Station and surrounds the Colac’s health precinct, Colac Performing Arts and Cultural Centre, Colac Otway Shire council offices and other government services.
